"I started attending California Tan in 1994. It had been recommended to me by another tanning business in Calgary. I had just moved to Okotoks, AB. The town had a tanning salon but I did not feel comfortable there and California Tan was very accessible at the south end of the city.

My experience has been nothing short of perfection. Don, Chris and their staff have always been friendly and accommodating. More importantly, the facility is extremely clean and well maintained. I am notorious for spontaneously dropping in or calling to arrange an appointment in 15 minutes and the staff have always been honest as to whether my request can be accommodated. They try their best, however, during peak periods of the year you do have to make an advance appointment unless you have the time to wait for approximately 30 minutes or so.

There is a large parking lot in front of the business so that is never an issue. Their hours suit everyone's needs, so again, that is never an issue. They offer a wide range of tanning beds and 3 bronzers. Proof that this establishment is pro-active in providing the best business to their clientele.

I highly recommend California Tan and I will never go anywhere else. The family knows that gift certificates from California Tan are a priority on my wish list!

I really want to write a letter to outline OUTSTANDING customer service I received yesterday. As every Calgarian
knows Stampede is here again, which means tons of events, a busy city and non stop action. It’s also Summer and
with working 12 hour days my skin is yet to show any sign of the sun from our few summer months! The option of
tanning in a bed is very relaxing, something I have done a lot of in the past but with a 9-5 job however with a 12 hour
day time just doesn’t permit!

I have used a Mystic Tan spray tan at various locations within the province as it’s a cheaper, faster way to get
IMMIDIATE COLOR. HOWEVER it’s a scary first experience as you have to choose your level or colour (scared you
may get an end result of an umpa lumpa) get even application and then try and find 6 hours for the stuff to set in
without it rubbing off! I can say I was not a fan my first few times however I learned with each streak mark and each
application what NOT to do the next time.

However I was absolutely blown away when July 8th I went to California Tan in SW being experienced in getting spray
tans, the staff was beyond knowledgeable, full trained and super eager to please. They right away find out for what
reason you need instant colour so that they can offer suggestions on what level to choose and for how long it should
last. They take you to the machine and in MUCH detail with full presentation show you how you need to be in position
for perfect results, I was anxious and told her this was my 10th time I already know. She was politely persistent and
insisted for me to watch to ensure perfect product, then had me demonstrate to ensure I had it down. Turns out I
wasn’t at pro at this after all, but these guys are! After having the machine spray you and following very detailed
instructions you usually have a finished product and head for home. However at this studio they strive for best result.
They personally apply your hands and feet and touch up any area they feel isn’t perfect...reassuring you if you have
any problems to return back for FREE touch ups.

The staff genuinely care about you and their manager Chris will make sure he is happy with your result before
leaving. All this treatment was under $50! To my surprise with this amazing service they do not even have a tip option
something I would suggest for them. I HIGHLY recommend California Tan to veryone, especially if you want immediate
colour and have heard horror stories of spray tans go to the professionals there they will make sure to ease your
mind and make sure your spray is flawless.
